Sure, you can go out and buy a box of dog treats, but these simple recipes are made with love—and they're as easy to make as baking a cake for yourself.
Dog Friendly Baking Recipes -
1.Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats
Simply mix all ingredients in a bowl or stand mixer. Then transfer the mixture to a work surface and work with your hands until a dough forms. Roll out the dough and either cut it into strips or punch out with your favorite cookie cutters. Bake at 350 F/ 170 C for 40 minutes until crispy. Wait for them to cool completely before giving them to your dog.
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups whole wheat flour
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup canned pumpkin
- 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon water or more if needed (optional)

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well before transferring the mixture to the silicone mold. Preheat the oven to 350 F/ 170 C and bake for 20-30 minutes until the top is crispy and golden. All to cool down and for your pooches to enjoy!

- 1 cup cooked, finely chopped chicken
- 1/2 cup rice, cooked and mashed
- 3 spoons of rice flour
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 egg
Cat Friendly Baking Recipes -
Mix all the ingredients together. Pour the mixture into your cupcake. Make sure you don't fill more than 2/3 of the batter. Preheat oven to 350 F/ 170 C and bake for 15 minutes. Leave to cool on a wire rack. Garnish with whole shrimp (peeled) or your cat's favorite treats!

- 1 can of tuna, emptied
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 1 pinch of grated cheese
- 1 egg white

- Tuna, Chicken and Sweet Potato Cake with Mashed Potato Topping
Start by flaking the fish in a bowl and add the chopped chicken to the mixture. Stir in the sweet potato puree, just enough to hold the mixture together. If the puree is watery, you can add rice flour.
Take a plate and place a circle cutter in the center. Scoop some of the mixture into the cookie cutter, smooth it to the edges and press down to make it firm. Pick up the cutter and voila! Garnish the cake with mashed potatoes or shrimp or your favorite treat! start making the cake.
